fragile boundaries

Introduction

There seems to be an invisible contract among all life here on earth and perhaps beyond this place we humans inhabit.
It appears that all life is created to interact with one another in a healing and harmonious way unless we disrupt this with our lack of awareness, respect and knowledge.
We need to contemplate that form follows consciousness in all of our lives.
We live on a beautiful planet that shows us its strength and its fragility.  All of us need to examine our relationship to our environment as we in our soul meander about this earth we call home.
Sometimes I think of myself as a butterfly and in that I am fragile, then I am reminded that in many cultures the butterfly is the symbol of the soul, rebirth and resurrection and I feel better about my own perceived personal fragile boundaries.
Most of my writing is in the form of Journal entries and as such I share my personal feelings, emotions and thoughts with others.  It’s beginning was my way to contemplate my own journey and then it slowly began to be shared with others. I think of writing as a way to unlock the inherent beauty within us, just as art in its myriad forms can.
Thank you for allowing me to share with you.

fragile boundaries
dissolve in open mind
or calcify and harden
in starkly closed hearts
we are given the choice
to dance with summer winds
or solidify like cold arctic air
that hangs over giant icebergs
yet even then the warmth
of summer can dissolve
what appears to be solid mass
