Foreword

This little book of poems takes for it’s essential theme the title poem, Feeding Dreams. Each poem is a reflection of feelings that have been birthed via an array of experiences. Works that have been inspired by hope, fear, gladness, pain, sadness, joy, and rage, are what these poems reflect.
The act of feeding dreams has permitted me an understanding of life, when understanding has seemed most elusive. Most harsh. And dreams do not have to be merely the bright and blue-skied versions. No. Rain-swept sorts of the barren and icy surface of the soul’s quest to dive in, tear off, swallow deeply, partaking in all manner of feast and famine, are as well kin. How glad I am to share these dollops of language - these fragments of thought - one version of knowing, garnered over time. Sauntering and speeding time.
