Poetry is special
because it deliberately seeks to go beyond the words, sentences, and
paragraphs to capture the reader or listener through the form and
placing of the words, through the deliberate use of words in new ways,
and through rhythm. Good poetry, like
all good art, speaks to our individual souls and spirits. I am honoured to
write the Preface to Dance With Words: poems from word
dancers Volume One. Hon. Peter Adams, P.C., M.P. -
Peterborough ~
~ ~ A
lot of poets will talk about following their Muse but this book, and the
supportive community behind it, dances with the Muse everyday. In the
online www.Dance-With-Words.com
community, creative souls share their own poems and comment on
published works in a safe environment. This book is a compilation of
these "dancers'" words that is real, intense, and joyful. As
you read them, you will feel the Muse beckoning to you to come and dance
with them. $17.00
including tax & shipping in Canada and U.S.
